Research Interests

I am principally interested in the writing of history in antiquity. My recent works include contributions to successive Studies in Ancient Greek Narrative volumes on the treatment of space, character, and speech in Polybius, Appian, Herodian, and Cassius Dio. I am writing a monograph on Appian.
